Onega Logistics: a business website

Onega Logistics: a business website project interface

The brief

We designed a business website for a fictional logistics company. Visitors can explore services, estimate shipping costs, submit a demo request and follow its route in the tracking interface.

The company, contacts, rates, infrastructure images and customer stories are part of the concept. Forms validate input and show results in the browser. No requests are sent to a real carrier.

Thirteen pages in one system

We built a homepage, a service catalogue and four detailed service pages: groupage freight, dedicated vehicles, warehousing and marketplace deliveries. Rates, a calculator, tracking, company information, warehouses, contacts and a data processing policy complete the website.

Service pages share common sections: an opening screen, benefits, tabbed terms, process stages, a sample customer brief and questions. The dropdown menu and footer provide direct access to each section. Text and primary actions remain available on mobile.

Calculations for the selected service

The calculator accounts for cities, weight, volume, shipping type and additional services. For dedicated vehicles, it selects capacity based on cargo specifications. The result shows the delivery time, distance and price breakdown.

Opening the calculator from the dedicated vehicle page preselects that shipping type. Users can swap the cities; invalid weight or volume and exceeded capacity are explained. On mobile, additional options expand on request.

From enquiry to tracking

The form receives the route and price from the calculator and validates the name, phone number and consent. Submission produces a demo reference number. The tracking button passes that reference, the chosen route, shipping type and creation time.

The tracking page immediately displays the request and its shipping stages. The reference number and route survive a page refresh. Contact details from the form are neither included in the link nor sent to a server.

Outcome

A multi-page demonstration website was published. We checked calculation, submission, tracking, menus, tabs, mobile journeys and accessibility, and ran type checks, a production build, linting and logic tests.

The demo showcases the structure and interfaces of a business website. A live logistics company would need separate connections for enquiry processing, actual rates and shipment status data. We do not attribute commercial results to this project.
